The subjects available for sixth year students to take at NEWT level are in the below list. Remember, if you passed the subject at OWL level, you will be able to take it as a NEWT. However, if you would like to drop that subject and take up another, feel free to do so. The subjects that have the phrase next to it are either available to take at the usual NEWT level, carrying on from the material studied at OWL level, or can be taken at an Advanced level, which has harder material to be studied. the Advanced level NEWTs will only be offered to the students who gained an 'O' in their OWL in that subject.
