We have now had all results off all students for their OWLs. We are pleased to announce that there is a 69%[/u] pass rate for the five subjects that everyone had to take: Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, DADA and Potions. We have a 100% pass rate on: Charms, Transfiguration, DADA, Arithmancy, Advanced Flying, CoMC, Ancient Runes, MoM Studies, Muggle Studies and History of Magic. Herbology has an 85% pass rate and Potions has 92%. Overall, our best year yet! Well done, guys!
Our highest achieving students are Ylana Thomson, who scored 6 O's, 3 E's and 1 A and Ryan Blackthorne who achieved 6 O's, 2 E's and 2 A's. Well done you two! You will each recieve 10 House Points for your Houses.
The elected NEWTs have been put into file and at the end of 2012, we will ask you what grades you should be working at in those subjects. At the end of 2013, we will do the same, and then combine the two grades to give you your overall grades.
